Balkan Bulgarian Airlines was Bulgaria flag carrier. It was established as TABSO in 1947 with the help of Soviet forces and later reacquired by the Bulgarian government. The name Balkan Bulgarian was adopted in 1968, the airline went bankrupt in 2002.
